ABSTRAK

Laporan Tugas Akhir, 2018. “Proses Focus Group Discussion dalam Menentukan Pitching Sebuah Produk di Biro Iklan McCann Worldgroup Indonesia,” dibawah bimbingan Dr. Dadang Sugiana, M.Si Program Studi Hubungan Masyarakat, Peminatan Periklanan, Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor.
Laporan Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses Focus Group Discussion dalam menentukan pitching sebuah produk di Biro Iklan McCann Worldgroup Indonesia mulai dari penerimaan brief dari klien, pelaksanaan focus group discussion dan analisis hasil focus group discussion.
Metode yang digunakan pada Laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan untuk teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pengamatan di lapangan observasi dan wawancara, serta dilengkapi dengan kajian pustaka yang memiliki relevansi erat dengan pokok permasalahan dalam meriset kelengkapan data lainnya melalui internet.
Simpulan dari penulis yaitu keseluruhan proses focus group discussion di Biro Iklan McCann Worldgroup Indonesia sudah dilakukan dengan baik melalui kerja sama antar anggota tim McCann Worldgroup Indonesia, sehingga mampu mengatasi segala kendala yang dihadapi selama proses FGD berlangsung sampai tahap analisis tersebut.

Final Report, 2019. “The Process of Focus Group Discussion to Determine the Pitching of a Product in an Advertising Agency McCann Worldgroup Indonesia”, under the guidance of Dr. Dadang Sugiana, M.Si, Public Relation Study Programme, Majoring in Advertising, Faculty of Communication, Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor.
This Final Report intend to understand the the process of focus group discussion to determine the pitching of a product in an Advertising Agency McCann Worldgroup Indonesia starting from receiving the brief from a client, the process of Focus Group Discussion and analyzing the result of focus group
discussion.
The method used in this Final Report is descriptive. Whereas the technique used for gaining data is through observation and interview, also be equipped with literature review that has relevance with the topic discussed in this gained fromthe internet.
The conclusion from this report is that whole process of focus group discussion in McCann Worldgroup advertising agency is done well through cooperation between the team of Mccann Worldgroup Indonesia, with the result that they could tackle every obstacles of the FGD process until analysis phase.
